School & Sports Physicals

We provide fast, compassionate care for adults experiencing non-life-threatening health issues.

Help Your Child Start the School Year and Sports Season Confidently

At We Care Urgent Care Plus, we know children thrive when they’re active—whether it’s running on the soccer field, jumping during cheerleading routines, or playing their favorite sport at school. As they gear up for a new year of learning and playing, ensuring they’re healthy and ready is our top priority.

Open Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. — no appointment necessary.

If the school year or sports season is approaching quickly and you haven’t scheduled your child’s physical yet, don’t worry! We offer quick, walk-in sports and school physicals designed to get your child prepared so they can focus on having fun and excelling in their activities.

Why Are School and Sports Physicals Important?

Required for Participation

Most schools and athletic teams require a recent physical exam before your child can participate. These exams are more than just paperwork—they’re essential health checkups that help ensure your child is fit to learn, run, jump, and play safely.

Early Detection of Health Issues

Children’s bodies are constantly growing and changing. Strenuous sports can sometimes reveal hidden health issues—like undetected heart conditions—that could be dangerous if not identified early. Our screening can help catch these concerns before they become serious.

What to Expect During a Sports or School Physical

Our caring team at We Care Urgent Care Plus will perform a comprehensive assessment to ensure your child is ready for their activities.

  • Medical History Review
  • Physical Examination
  • Vital Signs Check
  • Vision & Hearing Checks
  • Optional EKG if needed
  • Additional tests as required

Medical History Review

Past injuries, allergies, medications, and family health background.

Physical Examination

Focused on joints, muscles, and overall musculoskeletal health. We check range of motion, strength, and flexibility.

EKG (Electrocardiogram)

If needed, we can perform an EKG to screen for hidden heart conditions that could pose risks during vigorous activity.
